Action® Twister® Back Support

The Twister® Wheelchair Back adjustable tension upholstery is a replacement for the standard upholstery supplied with most wheelchairs. It can be can be adjusted using hook and loop straps to accommodate the user's deformities or provide a corrective contour to assist in optimal posture. Because the Twister® Wheelchair Back does not have a solid shell the wheelchair can be folded for transport or storage with the back in place.

In addition to providing an easily adjusted contour this back incorporates polymer cube inserts to reduce pressure and shearing at contact areas. Because it uses the lighter polymer cube sheets the Twister® Wheelchair Back does not significantly add to the weight of the wheelchair.

The rippled design is intended to maximize airflow to the skin in order to reduce heat and moisture buildup. The Twister® Wheelchair Back support provides padding of the wheelchair back canes for comfort and to reduce the chances of pressure points developing.

Available in 4 widths and 2 heights the Twister® Wheelchair Back will have a size to fit users of various heights and widths.
